Throughout its 11-year run, Impractical Jokers has given ample memorable episodes; we share three of the top-rated episodes according to IMDb.
Impractical Jokers is the 2011 truTV premiered comedy and candid camera reality show format series that has become the channel’s flagship show, as the series has only grown in popularity in the years since it started airing.
Throughout its 11-year run, the series has delivered a total of nine seasons, to date, with over 258 episodes.
Binge-watching the series can be a daunting task, so we have compiled three of the best episodes based on the eager approvals by IMDb users to help first-time viewers or avid fans navigate the series, and to see what other fans consider the best episodes from the series.
What is Impractical Jokers?
Many fans of Impractical Jokers consider the comedic show one of the best series of this format of all time.
First premiering on truTV in December 2011, the series has since become a flagship show for the channel, even spawning a fictional adaptation, Impractical Jokers: The Movie.
Impractical Jokers’ premise is shared as, “Comedians Joe Gatto, James ‘Murr’ Murray, Brian ‘Q’ Quinn, and Sal Vulcano are real-life best friends who love challenging each other to the most outrageous dares and stunts ever caught on hidden camera.”
Moreover, at the end of every episode, the joker with the least points after the series of dares, will need to fulfil a “punishment” on which they cannot renege.
Best Impractical Jokers episodes according to IMDb
With the comedy genre not performing well in terms of overall ratings compared to other genres on IMDb, it is interesting that Impractical Jokers’ overall approval rating is touted as 8.7 out of 10 on the platform.
The overall approval rating affirms why the series has remained one of truTV’s flagship shows, as the series is heading towards the milestone of the tenth season of the series.
The series’ tenth season is one that is set to be bittersweet, in light of original cast member and executive producer, Joe Gatto’s departure from the series following his public exit announcement shared in 2021, after the ninth season concluded.
Gatto is believed to have made the decision due to his divorce from his now estranged wife, Bessy.
As a result, it is only fitting that we share the three best episodes with Gatto still part of the series, according to IMDb’s viewer approval ratings.
