You can access Apple TV+ content through the app or by casting the screen of a different device to your Google Chromecast with Google TV.

It is important to understand the difference between an Apple TV and Apple TV+ subscription, as well as the Apple TV App.

However, you can access Apple TV+ content through the Apple TV App on Google Chromecast with a Google TV device or by casting your screen to this device.

What is the difference between Apple TV and Apple TV+?

Apple TV is a set of hardware devices from Apple that allow you to add even more of a variety to your ecosystem of Apple devices.

Apple TV+ is Apple’s contribution to the emergence of streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, and more.

A subscription to Apple TV+ is free for a few months when you purchase select Apple products, however, you can also continue this subscription after the allotted trial period, starting from $5 a month.

This means that the Apple TV is the hardware and Apple TV+ is the streaming service that encompasses all of the Apple Original shows that you can watch on the Apple TV App.

Even though the differences between the Apple TV, Apple TV+ streaming service, and the App can be complicated to understand, the most important part of this distinction is to understand that you need an Apple TV+ subscription.

You will be able to install the Apple TV App if you want to watch Apple Original content on a device that is not an Apple TV.

In the past, it was difficult to watch Apple TV+ content on your Chromecast device, because you had to be able to use AirPlay to mirror the content on your screen from another device and few platforms supported the Airplay feature.

Fortunately, this process has now been simplified because the Google Chromecast with Google TV device now supports the Apple TV App.

The Apple TV App is supported by many smartphones and Smart TVs that are not Apple devices, including the Google Chromecast with Google TV.

This makes it possible for you to watch Apple TV+ content on your Google Chromecast with Google TV device.

This means that you need to download the Apple TV App to your Google Chromecast with Google TV device and use this application if you want to watch Apple TV+ content on your Chromecast device.

You can also use the casting method from your phone or browser if you prefer.
