Chris Harrison remains quiet amidst queries about possible return for Bachelor In Paradise

Chris Harrison is still off social media, after taking an indefinite break from his hosting duties on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette; however, fans are questioning whether he will be returning for Bachelor In Paradise.

Chris Harrison is currently on a hiatus from The Bachelor franchise, following the biggest scandal of his career. The television presenter was deemed a “racist sympathiser” by some. After facing major backlash for defending the racist behaviour of a contestant, Chris decided to take a step back from the show and focus on educating himself. Thereafter, it was announced that he would not be hosting the upcoming seasons of The Bachelorette, which sparked outrage from his loyal fans.

Some claimed that the show would not be complete without him, adding that the recent incident was a lapse of judgement and did not have any malicious intent. On Wednesday, 7 April 2021, ABC announced that Bachelor In Paradise will be returning in August 2021, however, the channel did not stipulate who will be hosting it. Fans immediately began inundating the channel with requests to re-appoint Chris, whilst others threatened to boycott the show if he did not return. Neither ABC nor Chris have commented on his possible involvement in the upcoming season.
