Roku did not drop ABC and you can still watch it through the ABC application, over the air, or through a television streaming service on your Roku device.

Did Roku drop ABC?
While streaming services were initially intended to be as convenient as possible, they can now often feel overwhelming and unmanageable, what with every network and channel creating their own applications and live streaming platforms.
For this reason, many households have switched to Roku devices, so that they can manage all of their streaming applications, or “channels” from one place.
Fortunately, Roku has not dropped ABC, and there are still many ways that you can access ABC content with your Roku device.
The simplest way to watch ABC content if you already have a TV provider is through the ABC application or “channel.”
But you can also search for the channel through any other streaming service which you may already be subscribed to and carries the channel in its library of content. Finally, you can watch ABC the old-fashioned way over the air.
How to download the ABC application on your Roku device
Fortunately, downloading and installing the ABC application on your Roku device is as easy as installing any other application. You simply need to visit the Roku App Store and search “ABC”.
Then, click on the “Add channel” button and the ABC application will be added to the list of “channels” on your Roku device. You then need to type the activation code into the ABC website to get the application activated.
Other streaming services that carry ABC
ABC content and all of the content that can be found on the channel can also be accessed through various other streaming platforms which have applications for Roku devices.
This includes television streaming platforms like DIRECTV Stream, fuboTV, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and Vidgo.
Sadly though, some ABC affiliates owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group have been dropped from the libraries of several Hulu users since the beginning of March 2023.
How to watch ABC on your Roku TV the old-fashioned way
If you have a Roku TV, you can also watch ABC and many other local channels over the air.
To do this, you need a device called an HD digital antenna, which you can plug directly into your Roku TV. All of the channels that this antenna picks up will automatically be added to the Live TV Channel Guide on your Roku TV.
