Friends concludes filming of reunion special

Friends: The Reunion is expected to premiere on HBO Max within the next few months, as revealed by the streaming site, which also confirmed that filming has been concluded.

Friends: The Reunion has been one of the most highly anticipated sitcom revivals in recent years, due to the fact that it has been postponed multiple times because of the coronavirus pandemic. In an Instagram post on the show’s official page on Sunday, 11 April 2021, it was revealed that production had concluded, indicating that the show should be expected soon. The post stated, “That’s a wrap! Could we be any more excited!? Friends: The Reunion is coming to HBO Max.”

The series will see the return of Jennifer Aniston as Rachel, Courteney Cox as Monica, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe, Matt LeBlanc as Joey, Matthew Perry as Chandler, and David Schwimmer as Ross. It was also revealed that the cast reunited at the original Friends soundstage —Stage 24, at the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank for the filming, which began in early April 2021.
