Jamie Foxx is set to lead the upcoming Disney and Pixar collaborative animation movie, Soul, which is set to premiere in December 2020.

Disney took to Instagram on Wednesday, 25 November 2020, to reveal the release date of the upcoming Disney and Pixar collaboration, Soul. The film has Academy-awarded-winning actor and musician, Jamie Foxx, voicing the lead character, and acclaimed actors, Tina Fey and Phylicia Rashad, as supporting leads.

Soul is set as a story about never giving up on your passions or dreams. The story centres around Joe, a middle-school music teacher who has settled and given up on his dream to be a jazz musician. However, when he sets out on an adventure to help a friend, he also manages to find his way back to his passions again.
