Summer House: Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard’s reason for fighting is still unknown as they have asserted that fans need to watch season seven to find out.
Summer House has already garnered some anticipation prior to its upcoming seventh season.
This is as it has been confirmed that there is a surprising breakdown in the long-established friendship between best friends Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard.
The reason for their fight was teased during BravoCon earlier in the month of October 2022.
However, when it comes to the specifics of their fight, the two former best friends have both asserted that viewers will need to watch the upcoming seventh season of the reality show to find out what happened.
When is Summer House season seven premiering?
Summer House season six was the explosive and most recent season of the reality show in which a group of friends spends their weekends from Memorial Day through Labour Day in one of the most exclusive beach areas on the East Coast, as drama ensues.
The last season was a 17-episode season with a two-part reunion, as the reality show aired between January 2022 and May 2022.
As such, season seven is set to premiere in January 2023 and it should have the same running time as its current and most recent season.
Summer House: Why are Danielle and Lindsay fighting?
The shooting of season seven of Summer House reportedly concluded in September 2022.
However, by the time the shooting had concluded the upcoming new season, fans of the reality show were already aware that there may be trouble between best friends and cast mates, Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard.
Primarily, this was due to the fact that when Lindsay and her boyfriend Carl Radke announced that they were engaged, Danielle did not congratulate the couple on their impending nuptials.
This served as the first indicator that there might be trouble and discord between the two. However, at the time, Danielle explained her silence on the matter by sharing with US Weekly:
“Social media is a strange animal. I think that I was just exhausted from summer. I’m juggling so many things. I am obviously very, very happy for them”.
But her subsequent comments suggested an edge in her response as she also stated that the couple, who had just moved in together a month before, would wait a bit longer, “but everyone is on a different timeframe and it is what it is”.
But it was during the BravoCon in October 2022 that the former best friends confirmed that there is a rift in their relationship.
However, to find out the specifics of the reason for their rift, fans have to watch the seventh and upcoming season to understand what happened between them to cause the rift.
Danielle pleads the fifth on fight with Lindsay
While Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard have been mum about the reasons for their fight, both parties have teased details and indications about who might have been wrong.
Danielle, who it has been suggested was the cause, was less specific about the details and seemed to defend her actions.
She was quoted as saying, “I think that friendships can always just take on different forms, and there’s something that — there’s a reason why I felt like a sister to Lindsay, but time will tell”.
Lindsay mentions a betrayal as the cause of the fight with Danielle
While Danielle Olivera was less specific about the reasons for the rift between herself and her best friend, Lindsay Hubbard, Lindsay was more forthcoming as it seems that she was the wronged party who decided to distance herself from her best friend.
She mentioned betrayal as the reason for their rift, as she was emphatic that it was more than once. She later added, “(There were) things that a best friend shouldn’t do to your best friend, and I’ll just leave it at that”.
Have Danielle and Lindsay reconciled after their fight?
During BravoCon, it did not seem that Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard had not reconciled after the circumstances of their rift during the shooting of season seven of Summer House.
Danielle was less than forthcoming about whether she believes that she and Lindsay could repair their friendship in the future or not.
This is despite having missed events doing promotional runs for the show with her best friend like BravoCon. However, Lindsay seemed more open to the idea of reconciliation as she asserted, “I’m always hopeful, like, I don’t lose friends easily”.
