What is the Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza game?

This is a card game in which players must keep the words Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, and Pizza waiting on their lips. Players race to be the first to recite these words out loud when a certain event occurs during a player’s turn.

The aim is not to be the last one to play, as the game will only get more complicated for you if you are. Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is highly addictive and gets everyone loud and active.

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza rules

The game consists of a draw pile and a central pile of cards to play the game and players will also be dealt cards to play and get rid of. The person to the left of the dealer will put a card at the centre of the board and face it up, while saying the word “Taco.”

The player on their left will put a card down, facing up and proceed to say the next word “Cat” and the game will continue as such with players putting down cards and saying the words in the correct order.

When this is happening, there will come a point when the card that is laid down will correlate with the word that is spoken by the player, for instance, a player says the word “Cat” and the card they put down represents a cat.

When this happens, all players have to quickly slap their hands on the pile of cards in the centre and the last player to react unfortunately has to pick up the pile of cards and add them to the cards in their hand.

The player then kicks off the next round by starting with the word “Taco” again and the game will continue this way.

In the case that you accidently say the wrong word in the sequence, you automatically lose the round and pick up the cards to add to your hand pile.

Some additional rules to consider

When it comes to the pace of the game, players should maintain alertness as the game needs to move at a steady, fast pace.

If the pace is disturbed by forgetting your turn or what you have to say, you have to pick up the pile.  Players are not permitted to peek at their card before they put it down in the pile. If they do, they lose the round.

In the case of special cards, all players must complete the actions specified on the card and then slap the pile of cards. If the wrong action is done or a player is the last to slap the pile, they lose.
