Regardless of the show’s true intentions, many viewers were shocked when Cheyenne Floyd revealed in a recent episode of Teen Mom that aired on 20 September 2022, that she needed to undergo surgery to fix complications that she had following a shooting that she and her children were involved in.
Many of Cheyenne’s followers on social media were already aware that something traumatic may have happened to her.
Some even speculated that she may be sick or had to undergo surgery after she tweeted about not feeling well and how difficult her life had been in July of 2022, but very few people were prepared for the horrible details of why she had to have the surgery.
When Cheyenne was finally able to open up about the details of the event, she explained that she suffered from a muscle collapse in her breast, which caused her breast implant to dislodge and subsequently put her in a lot of pain.
This ongoing pain and dented appearance of her breast is what ultimately convinced Cheyenne that she needed the surgery, even though she had felt like it was unnecessary at first.

What happened during the accident?
In this recent episode, and after many somewhat cryptic messages on social media, Cheyenne finally provided some more details about her mystery surgery to the Teen Mom viewers who had been worried about her health.
In this episode, she recounted how she and her two children were involved in a shooting while they were driving.
She also revealed that their car was shot a total of 13 times, but fortunately, no one in the car was seriously harmed besides the non-serious, but painful injury that she sustained and needed surgery to fix.
Why was Cheyenne so reluctant to get surgery at first?
Cheyenne also revealed while she was recounting what happened in the accident that she felt like she did not need surgery at first.
She went on to explain that she was just so relieved that everyone in the car was unharmed and that they were all safe, that she did not think that she needed surgery on her breast.
Initially, it appeared as if she thought that the only damage was to the appearance of her breast and that it was only a physical problem, and not a medical one.
However, when the pain continued after the accident, she opted to have a surgery where her breast muscle was reconstructed. As a result of this, new implants were inserted to fix the pain and the appearance of the lumpy area.
