The Real Housewives of New York is set to return for its thirteenth season this May, with Eboni K. Williams starring as the first Black housewife in the series.
The Real Housewives of New York will be returning to Bravo TV on Monday, 3 May 2021. The thirteenth season will see a new housewife, Eboni K. Williams, who makes history as the first Black cast member in the New York-based series. Based on a trailer shared by Bravo on YouTube in March 2021, Eboni is expected to use the platform to show how Black women are misjudged and stereotyped. Moreover, she will showcase how she managed to seamlessly blend into the group and defend her honour where necessary.
The clip also saw Eboni confronting Ramona about referring to members of her housing staff as “the help,” which she found derogatory and racist. The new season will also see the return of Heather Thomson and some of the original cast members, including Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps and Sonia Morgan.
