Where to watch Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster

After the Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster docuseries premieres, it will be available on ID Go, Discovery Plus, and other streaming services.

Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster is a true crime documentary which explores all of the details surrounding Jared Fogle’s 2015 arrest.

Once the docuseries has premiered on the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel, it will also be available on the ID GO application, Discovery Plus, and any other streaming service with ID content.

About the docuseries

Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster is a new docuseries by ID that examines Jared Fogle’s rise to fame. Fogle became a very successful spokesperson for the Subway brand after he lost 245 lb by just eating Subway sandwiches.

However, in 2015, Jared’s life and fame came crashing down around him when he was arrested for and pleaded guilty to multiple child endangerment charges.

The series aims to re-contextualise Jared’s case through the lens of journalist, Rochelle Herman, who went undercover to reveal the true, disturbing child predator behind Fogle’s once-beloved public persona.

At some point, you have to wonder whether ID and other true crime networks will ever run out of real-life villains to create docuseries about. But alas, it seems as though these hard-to-believe cases just keep coming.

Other media had focused on the charges that Jared Fogle and Russell Taylor (Jared’s co-conspirator and the former manager of The Jared Foundation) had faced during their trials.

On the other hand, the Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster documentary focuses on how the authorities gathered their evidence against Jared and formed their case.

The docuseries will be released in three parts, the first of which will premiere on ID on Monday 6 March 2023 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

If you cannot make it to your television in time to watch this premiere, you can watch Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster, as well as the entire library of ID content, on the ID GO application if you have an active cable subscription that includes ID.

If you do not have a cable subscription, you will still be able to watch this documentary on the same day that it premieres when it is released on the Discovery Plus streaming platform by subscribing to the platform.

Alternatively, you can access ID content from a variety of other streaming platforms that carry the channel, including Hulu, Sling TV, Philo, and fuboTV.
