The Obliterated cast is full of wacky characters, but Hagerty’s wife Yanni’s singing talents serve her just as well off-screen, as in front of the cameras.
Netflix’s new action-packed raunchy dramedy certainly does not have a shortage of out-there characters.
But, between the mission-focused Chad McKnight (Nick Zano), the overly-bossy Ava Winters (Shelley Henning), the continually-hungry Trunk (Terrence Terrell), the eagle-eyed Angela (Paola Lázaro), the cyber-savvy Maya (Kimi Rutledge), and the always-dependable Paul (Eugene Kim), there is one member of this rag-tag bunch of almost-heroes that stands out as perhaps the wackiest of the bunch.
All about Hagerty and his road to the chapel
Hagerty, who is played by C. Thomas Howell and is the team’s resident explosives expert – managed to not only disarm a bomb with mere seconds left, but also put himself into a coma – during the first episode of Obliterated, but he also spent most of the subsequent episodes separated from the team.
When Howell was asked about the role of Hagerty, he mentioned that he made the conscious decision to portray the character not as a “quintessential macho dude,” but rather as a “lover.”
And, it seems like he has succeeded in his mission, since Hagerty, in a rather unsurprising turn of events for Las Vegas, even eventually ties the knot with a mysterious woman by the end of the season.
In case you missed it, Hagerty’s new bride (who ended up saving the day with a soulful rendition of “Feeling Good” by Hagerty’s favorite, Michael Bublé) is really a lounge-singer named Yanni.
The songstress and all-around party girl Yanni is portrayed by the multi-talented Lindsey Kraft for the entirety of season one of Obliterated.
Lindsey Kraft’s run as Yanni
Even though Obliterated has only been available to fans for less than a month, the show has already spent two weeks at the top of Netflix’s English Language Top 10 most-watched list and has reportedly already reached over 9 million views.
So, while the show has not yet officially been renewed for a second season, it may be just a matter of time before we get to see recurring cast members, like Kraft’s Yanni, return for even more episode.
But, for now, Kraft’s run on Obliterated’s first season can be summarized as follows:
Episode | Title |
Season 1, episode 8 | “Last Call” |
Season 1, episode 7 | “Make It Rain” |
Season 1, episode 6 | “From Vegas with Love” |
Season 1, episode 5 | “Shots! Shots! Shots!” |
Lindsey Kraft shares her experience working on Obliterated
Working on a show that has everything from hand-fighting Elvis to a live camel is bound to be an experience like no other and Kraft recently took to Instagram to share a few behind-the-scenes snapshots from the Obliterated set (and to thank everyone who worked on the show alongside her).
And, from what Kraft shared, it seems like the fun on the Obliterated set did not end when the cameras stopped rolling.
Kraft gave an extra-special shout-out to her new Obliterated husband, stating “deepest respect for my partner in crime on this project @therealcthomashowell”, before moving on to “the rest of cast and crew”, and ending her message with a simple “in awe of the talent here. happy to play a small part of this insanity. we had fun.”

Is Lindsey Kraft a singer in real life?
If you found Yanni’s signing just as mesmerizing as Hagerty did on the show, there is a very good reason for that.
Although Kraft is best known in Hollywood for her work on the small screen, she has recently changed medium and is working on her very own musical, titled “love, me.”
When Kraft is not busy writing and recording new music for love, me. alongside the talented Linda Perry, she has also been touring and performing all over the East Coast and Midwest with the alternative rock artist, Ben Folds.
Other projects that you may recognize Lindsey Kraft from
Before Kraft embodied the role of Yanni on Obliterated, or started working on writing, producing and recording her very own musical, she had already made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as a talented writer and actor.
Most people will recognize Kraft from her role as ‘Allison’, on Netflix’s other dramedy Grace & Frankie, but she has also appeared in shows like Mythic Quest, The Good Doctor, Why Women Kill, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Lethal Weapon, Suits, and many more over the years.
Kraft has also been featured in a few big-screen roles, including the role of ‘Gwyneth Cravens’ in the 2018 film A Futile and Stupid Gesture, the role of ‘Tobey’ in the 2018 film Nostalgia, and even the role of ‘Rogue” in the 2007 film Epic Movie.
