Netflix released the show as a split-cour, meaning on Wednesday, 5 October 2021, the first six episodes were made available.
The last two episodes were shared the next week on Wednesday, 13 October 2021, concluding the first season with eight episodes.
Baking Impossible: Are Cindy and Taylor dating or just friends?
Baking Impossible had nine teams of two consisting of a baker and an engineer, who were competing for the title of “Best bakineers”, which is a term that combines the words “bakers” and “engineers.”
Each episode saw a team being eliminated until the final two teams competed in the final episode of season one.
In a turn of events, season one’s fan-favourite pair, Cindy Ngar and Taylor Tabb, made it to the last episode only to lose to Sara and Rodolfo.
The team lost the final challenge which was the task of creating a cake that can withstand multiple pressure tests including an earthquake simulation stress test which shook the table.
Cindy, who was the baker in the team and Taylor, the engineer, won the hearts of fans due to their on-screen chemistry.
This led to the belief that the two were dating, but they have subtly indicated that they are just friends who also seemingly realised their chemistry and mutual respect for each other.

Despite having met in 2021 when shooting Baking Impossible, Cindy and Taylor have maintained their close-knit friendship and Cindy continues to share posts when they meet.
In June 2022, Cindy took to Instagram with a touching birthday post dedicated to Taylor and his mother, as the woman who is responsible for birthing one of her now closest friends.
In the touching message, Cindy wrote in part, “I wish you guys could see Taylor in real life, it’s even better than what you see on screen (we had to censor (sic) ourselves) Again, happy celebratory day of birth – I love you my magical unicorn!”
