Karen told everyone that Zac is the father of her baby, but this cannot be confirmed until a real DNA test is done.
Karen was certainly adamant about convincing everyone that Zac is the father of her baby, but until she gets a DNA test done, the baby daddy’s real identity will remain a mystery.
Besides, Karen will have bigger issues to deal with in the next few episodes.
Who is Karen’s baby daddy on Sistas?
Poor Karen has truly been going through it. Not only has she been pregnant for well over a season now (and she has still not even reached the baby bump stage yet), but the continuous flip-flopping between Zac and Aaron just does not seem to end.
Karen already revealed in the season 5 episode “Backlash” that she believes that Zac is the father of her baby.
However, since this assumption was based solely on Karen’s own inconsistent calculations, there is no real way to know if this is the truth.
Sadly, now that season six has introduced a whole new set of circumstances, with Karen possibly being injured in the salon fire and Aaron’s shadier side being revealed, the baby daddy’s real identity, may no longer be the primary issue that Karen will have to worry about.
Why it is so unlikely that Zac is Karen’s baby daddy
It was pretty much evident from the first moment that Karen started doing her calculations to figure out when she got pregnant, that she was not really sure who the father is.
It is still not clear whether she wanted Zac to be the baby’s father simply because she did not trust Aaron yet, or whether she saw this as a convenient way to cause problems in Zac’s relationship with Fatima.
However, it seems to have worked (judging by the way Zac reacted when he found out about the fire).
Will Aaron and Karen stay together?
Aaron already told Karen early on in her pregnancy that he would raise the baby as his own, regardless of what a DNA test reveals.
However, now that more details about Aaron’s (or, should we say, John’s) shady past are being revealed, Karen may decide to kick him to the curb before the baby even arrives.
Will Karen ever get that DNA test done?
By the first episode of Sistas‘ season six, Karen had clearly become fed up with all of the drama in her life. And she seemed pretty adamant about finally doing some tests to find out who the father of her baby is.
However, given the fact that the last time we saw Karen, she was still trapped in the fire, this DNA test will likely be the last thing on anyone’s mind.
